Hello
At nine in the morning on 16-6-2021, I was at the B5 entrance at Copenhagen Airport, looking at the plane that was taking me to Vienna and then to Amman, Jordan. Meanwhile, I received a call from my wife in Baghdad telling me that she had now received the result of her corona test for travel, and it was positive, so she could not travel with our two children from Baghdad to Amman, Jordan, on 6-17-2021, on board Jordan Airlines. That’s why I canceled the trip. I asked to take my bag off the plane, and I went to pick it up from belt No. 6 at Copenhagen Airport.
Then I went back to the traveler company from which I bought the ticket, and ask it about the possibility of setting another appointment instead of the one I canceled? They said, “Austrian Airlines cannot accept it because you are now, by virtue of who boarded the plane and traveled, even if the flight was cancelled.”
I am now submitting my request to Austrian Airlines, the ancient with its professional traditions, in order to take into account the humanitarian cases as a result of the Corona pandemic, including the case that happened to me and agree to set a new appointment for me on its airlines instead of the date that was canceled due to exceptional and forceful circumstances as a result of the pandemic Corona.
