On 01/03/2021, I had requested FAB to cancel my standing instruction of Zurich Insurance payment which falling due on 5th of every month. On 02/03/2021, I received a SMS mentioning that the request has been closed. But on 05/03/21, as usual, my credit card has been debited with the insurance payment. How come a standing instruction got processed even after it is cancelled?. I again called your customer care team, inquired the same and been informed that the standing instruction is still active and need to be cancelled again, So accordingly i placed second request to cancel the same, unfortunately on next month 05/04/2021, again my card has been debited with the premium. Since then i am complaining the same with the following series of complaint numbers SR14375401, CAS-150061-F1C5M6, SR14417784, CAS-154822-W8W4Y1. & 210524475301 and requested to reverse all the debits which are wrongly charged to my account at the earliest, for which i didn’t get any resolution so far.
I strongly feel that either FAB doesn’t have a proper system in place to manage customer requests or doesn’t have efficient staff to manage its business. It is a big shame to UAE, to keep the banking licence for such a messy bank.
Sorry to mention that I took a bad decision to take FAB credit card, even though many of my friends and relatives warned me, because of the bitter experience they had previously. Now i too regret.
I humbly request, if you have any efficient staff who can take care your system competency and customer grievance, please look into my case and provide me a resolution to reverse all the authorized debits in my card, at the earliest.

Dear Sir/ Madam,
I am writing this letter to bring your kind attention on the dishonest activities, which are going on publicly by one of the reputed banks in UAE.
Recently I have offered a lifetime free credit card from one of the representatives from the FAB. Based on his advice and explanation about the plans and benefits, I decided to choose the FAB credit card as he advise there were no any annual fee as well as hidden charges.
However, unfortunately I got Dubai First Credit Card, after the activation, I have received notification of annual fee of 454.81 in my account which has to be paid within few weeks to avoid further penalties over this due amount.
When I try to contact the representative and the branch manager, whom contacted me related to processing of card, are unavailable and not responding through the provided contact details.
As I am a prey of this scam, I tried to contact the bank directly, but I was insisting to pay the due amount within the specified date based on the agreement which I signed with them.
To be honest, I believed the representative words instead of concentrating too much on the terms & conditions mentioned from their side which is still unknown to me.
Now I am suffering too much mentally as well as financially due to this incident and afraid to keep the card with me to avoid further torturing by way of future T&C from the bank side.
Details of the representatives and our discussions are attached for your further support and kindness to overcome from this nightmare.
One of the worst services from FAB and very unprofessional staff from customer care. I applied for a credit card which shows the minimum salary required is 5000.
For 12 days I didn’t get any call from the FAB sales team. when back to customer care they mentioned they rejected my application when I asked why my application was rejected, they mentioned salary is less hahaha What a joke since 2021 my salary was transferred to my FAB card they mentioned your salary was not transferred in FAB, but I’m going to close my account I refer everyone do not go with this bank.
I still not got my refund amount it’s still on hold 😔 please help
